    Oysters, or bivalve molluscs, are hailed as ecosystem engineers in coastal waters. They can ingest and filter across their gills up to 190 litres of water every 24 hours. Oysters eat plankton and non-food particles; then digesting and expel this material to the bottom of the body of water.

    This behaviour has significant cleaning environmental impacts, in the biosphere and habitat of the of the Xiamen urban area. Visualising these processes of material exchanges and environmental impact and maintenance using digital animation and particle motion techniques will informed this project.

    牡蛎,即双壳类软体动物,被誉为沿海水域的“生态系统工程师”。它们每24小时可通过鳃摄入并过滤多达190升的水。牡蛎以浮游生物和非食物颗粒为食;随后将这些物质消化并排泄到水体底部

    这种行为对厦门市区生物圈及栖息地的环境净化产生了显著影响。本项目将利用数字动画和粒子运动技术,直观呈现这些物质交换过程及其对环境的影响与维持机制。
