Chasse (2024) presents a spatial decomposition of an animal in a cage. It is a pair of cheetahs in a vitrine in the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, Paris, France. The cheetahs were killed as recreation, and their bodies shipped to be exhibited in the metropole as a trophy. This mobile taxidermy embalms the form of the animal and asks complex questions about history, the recreational activities of imperial powers, and the extraction of resources.
