Folkestone Obscura, 18' 16/video 2004
A montage of newsreels, amateur movies, and images shot as if through a camera obscura, traces an alternative history of Folkestone through the 20th Century.
Folkestone Obscura was realised in response to material in the Folkestone local history archive and in collaboration with local historians.
The film was commissioned by Probosis> as part of Navigating History>.
